Eurasico

Eurasico ("You're a sicko") started when Jeff found a cheap fare from Helsinki to Singapore. Many frequent flyer miles, hotel points, emails and phone calls later, we had cobbled together a three week, multi-country adventure that couldn't be more random in its itinerary...SFO-SEA-FRA-HEL-AMS-SIN-DPS-SIN-AMS-HEL-VNO-FRA-MEX-SFO/MSP. An Estonian mystery...

So we woke up to our first morning in Tallinn, rested and ready.

The art in our rooms promised a city full of glitz and glamour.

And skinny blondes.

And Tallinn delivered.

The city took a hard line on crime. Although the way this woman is standing, she may have had it coming.

We climbed a tall church tower.

Feeling the burn.

And viewed the city from above.

Then explored it on foot.

I watched a woman pick up her dog's poop and put it in a little bag and thought about my life back home.

We discovered a bar completely devoted to Depeche Mode.

I even found cheap dumplings.

Tallinn was old.

And new.

And beautiful.

So how did we end up here a few hours later?

to be continued...
